As Monkees Items become more collectible, the demand for common as well as unique items expands. As a result, people after the "Almighty Buck" have surfaced wanting to "Make A Buck" off of collectors. This section will help collectors become aware of what Monkees Items to be careful of. It must be said that because of the high volume of counterfeit items out there, a seller of products may not be aware that they are selling something bogus. Great care must be given to careful discrimination before buying or selling any type of collectible. Many of the Pinback Buttons can be copied without much difficulty. The Monkees buttons below with the gum machine label was an original item but there are usually differences found in the buttons. More descriptions to follow. Care must also be used before accusing anyone of selling or producing counterfeit items.
